By using Automate Shipping Profiles, your products will be bulk assigned to their appropriate Shopify shipping profile. Any new products added to your catalog will be automatically assigned to their proper shipping profile.

Nope - Automate Shipping Profiles is a bulk automation app that automatically assigns your products to their appropriate Shopify shipping profile.
I only use 1 Shopify shipping profile. Do I need Automate Shipping Profiles?
Nope - if you have 1 Shopify shipping profile, products are all assigned to your General shipping profile. Once you add a secondary profile, Automate Shipping Profiles would be a great fit for your store.
Will I need Shopify's Third-Party Carrier Calculated Rates feature?
Nope - Automate Shipping Profiles is an automation app and doesn't calculate shipping rates at checkout.
